Belltown
Belltown, modern art center of Seattle. This neighborhood on the north side but still downtown is home to a growing list of hip cafes, art galleries, stylish and trendy shops, cool restaurants and nearby clubs and just a just a few blocks from Pike Place Market.
Downtown
Visit the Downtown area for great shopping, cultural including the Seattle Art Museum and the Benaroya Concert Performance Hall. Check out the Dale Chihuly glass chandelier.
Pioneer Square
Watch out for the carriage horses clopping down the streets in this antique neighborhood. Stop by any of our shops and ask about the famous Underground Tour
SODO (South of Downtown)
Home to Safeco Field where the Seattle Mariners baseball team plays. This touristy area is known for the Pyramid Brewery, our beloved Starbucks corporate headquarters, and the Seattle Design Center.
International District
To the east of Pioneer Square are many shops where you can take a taste of and experience the thriving Seattle Asian culture. Dine on dim sum and visit the Wing Luke Asian Museum.
Elliott Bay Waterfront
Take a Washington State ferry tour of Puget Sound or take one of Argosy Cruise Line’s many sightseeing cruises. Enjoy the views of Olympic Mountain as you sail past the bustling waterfront. Enjoy a boat ride and Salmon Bake at Tillicum Village (packages available through the Hotel Nexus)!
Seattle Center
From the Monorail go visit the former site of the 1962 Worlds Fair and ride the elevator to one of Seattle's best vantage points, the Space Needle. Check out the Pacific Science Center or the newly opened Experience Music Project for an experience you are unlikely to forget.
North Seattle
The north Seattle area where Hotel Nexus is situated offers a number of hidden wonders from the Woodland Park Zoo (which emphasizes conservation and education), Northgate Mall (the first covered mall in America), the Burke Museum and Henry Art Gallery at the University of Washington and the incredible Green Lake four-season recreational area (walk, run, rollerblade, bicycle or rent a kayak). Drive further north on I-5 to visit the Alderwood Mall or travel to the new Boeing Tour Facility and Future of Flight Aviation Center in Everett!
